Lefkoşa — often written Lefkosa, and Nicosia in English — is the capital of North Cyprus and the only divided capital in the world. Most visitors come for the walled old town, the Selimiye Mosque (formerly the Cathedral of St. Sophia), the Büyük Han and the bazaar streets around them.
