Car Hire in Kyrenia (Girne), North Cyprus
Kyrenia — Girne in Turkish — is the harbour town on North Cyprus's northern coast and a favourite base for exploring the coast, the Beşparmak (Kyrenia) mountains and the villages around them. Sur Car Hire is a family-run company that has been renting cars in North Cyprus since 1979, and Kyrenia is one of our pickup points: we deliver the car free of charge to your hotel or address in our delivery areas, so there is no need to travel to a depot. Kyrenia is around 45 minutes from Ercan Airport via Lefkoşa and roughly an hour from Gazimağusa. From the harbour, Bellapais Abbey is a short drive uphill and St. Hilarion Castle sits on the ridge above the town — both are well signposted.
